How much does it cost to use Hare?
Listing on Hare is completely free for both professionals and clients. Professionals set their own prices and can use their own booking methods. When a client chooses to book through Hare, a small service fee applies as a finder's fee — covering secure payments, scheduling, and customer protections. There are no monthly subscriptions or hidden charges.
Is Hare only available in New York?
Hare was founded in Harlem, New York, but is expanding nationwide. We are actively seeking braiders, locticians, and stylists in cities across the United States including Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia, and many more. If you are a hair professional anywhere in the U.S., you can join Hare.
How do payments work on Hare?
Clients pay a 30% deposit when booking to confirm the appointment. The remaining balance is charged approximately 24 hours before the appointment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Braiders receive payouts directly to their bank account.
